Q: Can the guard be re-formed multiple times?

A: Yes, the guard can be re-formed up to 5 times.

Q: Is the Grind Guard BPA free?

A: Yes, the Grind Guard is BPA, Latex & Silicone Free

Q: My Grind Guard melted, now what?

A: Please give our office a call or send an email and we would be happy to supply you with a replacement. Next time, make sure the water is not boiling when the guard is placed in the water.

Q: My previous Dental Guard/Grind Guard was for the bottom teeth; can I form the Grind Guard to my bottom teeth?

A: Yes, you can form the Grind Guard for the bottom teeth. It may be a little bit trickier and you may need to trim the edges with scissors. The Grind Guard is designed to fit to the top teeth.

Q: How do I know I have the correct fit?

A: The guard should not fall out of your mouth when you open your mouth. Should be a comfortably tight fit. If it is not a tight fit, repeat the fitting process.

Q: How do I keep my dental device clean?

A: You can soak the guard in a cleaning solution such as Fresh Guard, denture cleaner, mouthwash, or use a brush and toothpaste. We highly suggest the Dental Bath to store, soak and scrub your dental appliance.

Q: How long do the Grind Guards last?

A: The Grind Guard longevity depends on the aggressiveness of the grinder, but typically anywhere from 6 - 8+ months.

Q:  Can I return it to the retailer? 

A: No, we recommend for the satisfaction guarantee, please call our office to either receive a replacement or full refund. Typically, once it has been put in the mouth, retailers will not accept it.
